Sunday’s Sweet Reminder | Father’s Day

I remember following him around everywhere, sitting on the floor in the mornings drinking hot chocolate while he sat next to me drinking black coffee, and sharing the same love for the outdoors; especially for trout fishing. My dad and I have ALWAYS been close.Even though there were times growing up when I thought he was just doing things to be mean, he was just protecting me.He will always be my hero. The man who has set such a good example of how a friend, father, and husband should be. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with such an amazing Dad. Thank you for always fixing my truck (EVEN ON FATHER’S DAY!!), for supporting me through every decision I have had to make, goals that I have set for myself, and for all of the advice that you give. (Weather I like it or not, it always seems to be the right stuff!) I love you Dad! Hope you have a really great day!! Love, Rosebud 🙂

On this Sunday, celebrate your Dad’s!! Another one of Sunday’s Sweet Reminders 🙂 Have a fun Father’s Day!!!

Here are some Dadisms that I would like to share:

– Life’s tough; getta helmet!
– Here’s the smallest violin, playing the saddest song, just for you.
– Try this! it’ll put hair on your chest!!
– Ain’tcha ever heard coffee’ll stunt yer growth??
– If I think so, I sweat so, and when I sweat so, I stink so, so I don’t think so.

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.
–Psalm 103:13
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.
Malachi 4:6
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9
