OH FRIENDS! Paul & Molly’s San Diego wedding is one for the books!!! The entire day was so full of happiness, excitement, and GORGEOUSNESS!!! I mean, seriously, look at these two…..they are perfect! The location of their wedding day is something very special to Paul & Molly. It is the exact place they had their first date! How sweet is that?! The entire space was the perfect canvas for their celebration and fit the romance of it all. From the unique ceremony location having dreamy maple trees shading guests, the amazing plants that accented the landscape, and the intricate decorations throughout the garden — I could not imagine a more fitting location!
A N A B S O L U T E D R E A M ! ! !
Both of Paul’s mother and father officiated the ceremony. It was something so special to witness and I know it was even more special for Paul & Molly. That is something that they will cherish for the rest of their lives! All of the guests were buzzing with happy thoughts and love for these two. Something equally as fun was the wedding party! This group of friends and family were SO MUCH FUN! We had a great time together and they set the bar for future wedding parties everywhere 🙂
During the reception, Paul and Molly took part in a traditional Korean wedding ceremony called Pyebaek. During this ceremony, the parents seated across from the newlyweds. The newlyweds bow and offer the cup to the father and the groom offers the cup to the mother. The parents then share some wisdom on marriage from their experience. At the end, the parents threw the Korean dates at the couple, who has to try catching them with Molly’s wedding skirt. The number of dates that Paul and Molly caught symbolize the number of children they will have! It was so fun to watch!
